House of Stories grows out of The Book Gadgie’s Tynemouth Market stall: carefully chosen stock, fair prices, no hovering, and proper conversations about what to read next.

For the past four to five years the family has been buying and selling second-hand and antiquarian books. What began as a passion has grown into a permanent home for books and readers in Morpeth.
